Newborns are so tiny and fragile in those first few days after birth. With the sleepless nights and whirlwind of emotions, that teeny-tiny phase seems to pass by in the blink of an eye. A Newborn Portrait Session is the perfect way to capture your tiny miracle as beautiful works of art to be cherished forever.

Scheduling your Newborn Photography Session

Newborn portraits are best captured in the first 4-12 days, while your baby is sleeping soundly and curling up into those adorable womblike poses. For babies that are born early and spend time in the hospital, we recommend scheduling a session within the first week of being sent home. We encourage families to book their newborn photography session early to ensure availability. Your due date will be placed on our calendar, and we look forward to hearing from you once baby is born to schedule your newborn session. If you’ve already had your little one, we will try to accommodate you.

 

Our Style

Newborn Sessions generally last 3-4 hours, allowing plenty of time for feedings and diaper changes to keep your baby content. The studio is kept warm and sanitized throughout the session, and blankets are washed with the most gentle hypoallergenic detergents. We’ll capture a variety of newborn poses, while also capturing the sweet tiny details that make your baby unique. Sessions are scheduled for the morning or early afternoon. As you can see in our newborn photography gallery, we use props, wraps and knit accessories for our signature style.

Artistic Editing

Your portrait session is only the beginning of creating your custom artwork. Following your session, we spend an extensive amount of time curating and processing the best images to showcase in your gallery. We want you to treasure your final portraits. As you’ll see in our portfolio, each image is carefully and tastefully edited into an unique work of art. For every minute we spend together, we spend hundreds more behind the scenes, making your images exceptional. Within 2-3 weeks of your session, you will be receiving a link to your private gallery of beautifully edited newborn portraits.
